Meet your favourite indie artists on Dec. 17 – NO ADMISSION CHARGE
TORONTO – Nov. 18, 2005 – Join more than 30 bands for a free, unique, one-day Canadian indie music flea market. Meet and greet local indie artists including Bent Wind 1969 Rock/Psyche band, Ossie Gurley “Who Let The Dogs Out”, Doug Richardson of KOLLAGE, Micheal White of Q107”s Animal House, Smooth Jazz Artist Eddie Bullen, Blues Band Johnny Max Band, Punk Rock Sinkin Ships, ReggaeXclusive’s Donna Makeda, Soca Singer King Cosmos, Vaugh Passmore’s Stratochief, Punk Rock Label-Stumble Records, PLUS - Phil Naro, Paul Hood , JBS Records, Derek Atherton, Rob Sterling and Wild T. Get autographs and take close-up photographs of you and your favourite groups.
As big music stores increasingly convert to DVD-only, this is a rare opportunity to buy indie music CDs outside the artists’ live gigs. You can also pick up many one-of-a-kind items like posters and T-shirts. Do your Christmas shopping painlessly!
On your way in, pick up a copy of the program guide – a special issue of MusicTrain / LiveMusicGuide.ca. Each guide contains a $5 coupon for a discount on a CD for this event only.
WHEN: 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Dec. 17, 2005
WHERE: Reilly’s Restaurant, 3rd floor 340 Yonge St. (across from Sam the Record Man)
